Geoff Mitchell

As the Senior Minister of Lindenwood, Geoff loves leading this inclusive community of faith. His goal is to assist people discover a life of faith that does more than leave them exhausted and disillusioned. He is humbled to lead Lindenwood, believing he is the least likely candidate to serve such an eclectic community of faith.

A native of Kentucky, Geoff grew up on the Mississippi River in Keokuk, Iowa. He spent 13 years in Texas, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Master of Divinity from Texas Christian University. He recently completed his Doctor of Ministry.  He has served churches in Fort Worth, Texas and Keokuk, Iowa. He has also started two new congregations, in Aledo, Texas and suburban Chicago. He follows the TCU Horned Frogs with the devotion of a monk, hosting the longest running TCU football podcast, “The FrogCast.”

Geoff has officiated High School Football and Baseball for many years. Most mornings you can spot him in Midtown attempting to “run.” His musical tastes extend from the greater works of Robert Earl Keen to the lesser works of Robert Earl Keen.
